Women Lawyers in Bergen is the first and oldest county women's bar association in the State of New Jersey. It began 30 years ago as the brainchild of a group of pioneering women lawyers.

The goals of the organization were to recognize and celebrate the achievements of women in the law; to disseminate information on legal issues affecting women; to educate women about their legal rights; to provide an opportunity to socialize, share ideas and skills; and to provide referrals of legal business to the participants.
